Department of Computer Applications & Science, which is of 3 year duration, was started in the PG section of the college during the academic year 1995-95 with an intake of 30 candidates and the intake of 60 candidates during the year 2000-01.

he department conducts extension lecturers and guest lecturers frequently by eminent personalities in the field of Computer Science.The topics covered would be latest in nature not otherwise covered in curriculam,which helps the students to meet the stiff compitition in the field of Computer Science.

Montessori has a distinctive identity in the state of Andhra Pradesh as an Institution which offers Computer Education to girl students.The department is imparting various skills to the students by providing continuous guidance and identifying focus areas.
