The M.Sc Biochemistry programme deals with the basic chemistry of macromolecules such as carbohydrates, lipids, proteins and nucleic acids, in terms of their structure, function and metabolism. The Programme also includes the study of microbiology, general physiology, molecular biology, genetics and a whole range of biochemical and biophysical techniques needed to understand life from a molecular standpoint
