The mission of the MBA Program at Savera Group of Institutions is to provide an applied business education in a multi-cultural learning environment. Our program aims to improve decision making capabilities of our students by providing a functional business foundation and enhancing their analytical, communication, and technological skills.
At the completion of the MBA Program, graduates will possess the following general management abilities:
Economic and Financial Systems · Graduates will understand global and domestic economic theories and their application to the business setting. · Graduates will understand financial theories and markets, the financial reporting system, and financial analysis.
Value Creation · Graduates will be able to identify customer needs and participate in the process of developing products and services to meet these needs. · Graduates will understand production models and distribution systems, and their role in the value creation process.
Business Environment · Graduates will have an appreciation of the multicultural, political, environmental, legal and regulatory setting of the organization.
Ethics · Graduates will possess a thorough understanding of business ethical situations, the laws regarding corporate governance, and the role of their personal integrity and values.
Management · Graduates will possess leadership skills, understand group and individual dynamics, and be able to work in teams. · Graduates will appreciate the importance of ethnic, cultural and gender diversity in the organization.
Communication · Graduates will enhance verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
Decision Analysis · Graduates will have well-developed problem solving skills including the ability to analyze uncertain situations, utilize facts and evidence in drawing conclusions, apply decision making theories, and adapt and innovate in new settings.
Technology · Graduates will be able to use information technologies as they influence the structure and processes of organizations and economies, and as they influence the roles and techniques of management.
Strategic Planning · Graduates will understand the business as an integrated system; the relations between the functional areas and long-range planning, implementation and control.
About Course at Faculty of Management
Over recent years, the "classic" MBA course has undergone a process of steady evolution in order to match the dynamic nature of management itself. The curriculum and course contents for MBA programmes are designed by Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak. However, topics typically covered, may be grouped into four broad categories:
bullet Foundation courses which include Economics and Social Environment, Managerial/Business Economics, Accounting and Finance, Quantitative Techniques, Organizational, Development/ Behavior,
bullet Application courses such as Computer and Information Technology, Operations Research. Management Control and Information System,
bullet Integrative courses such as Business Policy, Business and Government, Strategic Management, Technology Management, Management of Public Enterprises; and
bullet Specialisation in at least two functional areas such as Marketing Management, Industrial Business , Personnel Management/Human Resource Management, Financial Management
In view of the increasing complexity of business operations, the need was felt for specialized programmes in several functional areas such as, Marketing Management, Financial Management and Industrial Production Management, Personnel Management and Industrial Relations, Human Resource Development and International Business.
The liberalizations of Indian economy necessitated trained manpower in International Business and International Management. Principles and techniques of management are equally applicable to non-business enterprises and several sectors of the economy.
