The college offer number of Post Graduation Courses, one of the course is MD in Biochemistry.
The course strive for achieving excellence in fields of medical education and lab care by providing holistic education inclusive of up to date knowledge and research in the field of Biochemistry, compassion of patients, and courtesy for the fellow soldiers with an ultimate aim to fulfill their mission of this college.

The dept provides diagnostic support to CH (SC) and affiliated hospitals. It is the referral laboratory for specialized clinical chemistry investigations for Service hospitals. The dept has been participating in WHO sponsored quality control programme since 1976. The VIS, an index of quality performance, has remained under 100 for years. WHO has commended this laboratory for excellent performance. In addition to semiautoanalyzers, special research equipment like spectro-fluorimeters, Spectrophotometers, lon-sensitive-electrolyte analyser, ELISA Reader, Lyophiliser and Chromatography equipment is available.

The dept has to its credit five AFMRC projects and eleven publications in last five years. Innovations include colorimetric method for estimating globin-bound fructosamine, and kinetic method for caeruloplasmin (patent applied).
The college is authorized to conduct post graduate courses vide. GOI MOD letter no. 8510/ DGAFMS/ DG-1D/ 2273/ 2001/ D Med dated 05 Nov 01, as amended vide GOI MOD letter no. 8510/ DGAFMS/ DG-1D/ 2556/ D Med dated 02 Sep 04 and GOI MOD letter no. 8510/ DGAFMS/ DG-1D/ 3018/ D Med dated 15 Oct 04.

The vacancies for the above course is available to service officers only. However, any unutilized vacancy is available to civilians. The selection for filling these vacancies is based on an entrance examination.
