MD Radio Therapy

The course of radiology is established since the inception of Safdarjung hospital and has been providing services to OPD indoor and patients attending casualty. Ever since its inception the department is being expanded to serve the ever-increasing needs of radiological investigations of the patients of the hospital as well as to the Central Government Health Services Schemes. In addition services are also being provided to all the patients referred from other hospitals of the Delhi as well as neighbouring states.

Currently the department of radiology is equipped with all modern radiological diagnostic equipments like MRI, Spiral CT, Colour Doppler, mammography in addition to conventional and specialized radiological investigations. Wherever possible interventional procedures like FNAC, guided biopsy and abscess etc. are also being carried out. The department is providing services to all clinical departments of the hospital, OPD patients and patients admitted in the various ICU's of the hospital.
