MDS in Periodontics and Community Dentistry

The Department was established in the year 1998. The Department has major units namely Periodontics & Community Dentistry. The Periodontia O.P.D. has major input of patients amongst various departments of Dental College. The Community Dentistry is regular organizing the various dental health checkup/treatment camps & school dental health programmes besides looking after the Urban centre at Qila Road and Rural Centre at Jawan. The department is also running 2 year dental hygienist certificate course independently.

Future Plan:

The department has recently introduced 3 year postgraduate course. The department will also propose to start the oral implantology unit, Tobacco cessation clinic and special clinic for pregnant lady, handicapped and aging people.
