The Mechanical Engg was started in the year 2002. It has several state- of- the- art laboratories. Highly qualified and experienced teaching staff are on its rolls. who have held/holding important posts in both India & Abroad. Dept of Mechanical Engg is also recognised as a research center by Visvesvaraya Technological University to offer Phd and MSc. (Engg) degrees.

The following labs have been developed as per VTU norms:

2. Material Testing LAB

3. Foundry & Forging LAB

4. M & M LAB

5. CAD/CAM LAB

6. Machine Shop

7. F.M LAB

8. Energy Conversion LAB

9. Design LAB

10.Heat Transfer LAB

These Laboratories have been designed to cater not only to the VTU requirements but also

caters sophisticated Research & Development activities
