Ours is a media dependent society. And the role of the media in democracy is vital, especially at a time when information and knowledge rules over the globe. It is against this backdrop that the Institute of Distance Education decided to begin a Diploma course in Journalism. And there is no upper age-limit for admission. A graduation is the minimum qualification.
