P.hd. in Material Science and Engineering:Corrosion and Oxidation
The post graduate programmes leading to the Master of Technology (M.Tech.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees have as their goal the fundamental understanding of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering coupled with indepth study in the area of specialisation of the student. This is achieved by offering a large number courses in each area of specialisation followed by research in the student's area of special interest. Interdisciplinary course work and research are encouraged. The M.Tech. and Ph.D. theses making original contributions form an integral part of the programme
