Among the thirty eight laboratories functioning under the wings of CSIR, CDRI is considered as the best one. CDRI uses latest technology and techniques to develop drugs, vaccination and diagnostics. Tuberculosis is a contagious disease. Till date it has killed millions of people all over the world. To fight with the disease the scientists have developed multi drug resistance (MDR)-TB.
