Course programme

What you will Study You will study the basic structure and function of the human body in relation to exercise and fitness and how to design a personal exercise programme utilising the principles of fitness (frequency, intensity, time, type and adherence). You will also be taught the basic principles of assisting in leading a circuit training session safely and effectively and the benefits of a balanced diet and its contribution to a healthy lifestyle.
How you will Learn The weekly classes will be held in a gym setting with focus on practical activities to demonstrate the theory. Students will produce exercise programmes within this setting.
