Course programme

Year 1 - CPD Award Modules include: Counselling Skills Approach Introduction to Theoretical Perspectives     Year 2 - DipHE Modules in year two include: Ethical and Professional Issues in Counselling Module Foundations of Research Person-Centred Advanced Skills and Theory Modules in year three include: Placement Practice (a total of 100 hours practice on placement with supervision) counselling Approaches and Models of Psychopathology If students have not completed the required 100 hours practice there is provision for additional time to complete in semester one of the following academic year.
