About this course

Eligibility for admission is possession of a UG degree such as B.V.Sc./B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree of Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University or any other University recognized as equivalent thereto shall be eligible to apply with an OGPA of 3.0/4.0 in trimester system or 7.0/10.0 in semester system or 50% in conventional system

Course programme

The duration of the course is one year comprising of two semesters. This diploma would encompass small animal medicine, surgery and reproduction with special emphasis on developing practical skills and would help to equip the veterinarian in managing surgical, medical and reproductive problems affecting small animals. The global scenario requires that a practicing veterinarian should possess sufficient knowledge in latest advancements in small animal surgery, medicine and reproduction comparable to international standards.
