PG Diploma in Development Studies

Focuses on the social aspects of development policy and practice, and is particularly relevant to those who have work experience in development. Aims to add to existing skills in generic and specialist areas, whilst also broadening understanding by examining recent theoretical developments and the results of comparative experience and research.
Study fellows who successfully complete the Development Studies programme go on to pursue careers in HRD in the public sector and government administration, education, training and development consultancy and also NGO planning and development. The programme especially encourages understanding of institutional HRD practices within the context of globalization and international development.
