PG Diploma in Horticulture

The Diploma allows students to specialize in production, landscape horticulture or turf management. Within the production series, students follow a cut flower, fruit and nursery or vegetable industry interest by building appropriate crop profiles. Students completing the landscaping option can develop specializations in design, plant management or turf management.
The Diploma provides students with a sound educational basis for careers as producers/managers in the cut flower, fruit, nursery and vegetable industries; bio security managers for export and import crops; sales and technical employees in service industries, landscape contractors and managers; Technicians in organizations that use plants in their research and development programmes; developers of designs on residential, commercial and rural sites; managers maintaining planted landscapes; - parks etc., managers of golf courses and sports fields.
