The visual media are bound to have a much greater impact on human mind. Law plays a dual role vis-à-vis such media. On the other hand, it protects the creative freedom involved in them, on the other; it has to regulate them so as to avoid their possible abuse.
Mass Media Law student may seek employment in the mass media industry such as legal advisor to advertising agency, public relations, newspaper, magazine, film and broadcasting amongst others. They may be writers or 'producers' of information; be part of the creative team in bringing forth new ideas and concepts; and as educators.
