PG Diploma in Yoga

The Department of Physical Education was started in the year 1973 by Prof. Gulab Singh Chaudhary, the then Chairman (Since retired), Since then the Department is running the Courses of M.P.Ed. one year latter on followed by two years and Ph.D. in Physical Education. Where as the M.Phil. regular course has also been introduced in the Department from the academic session 2006-07. Beside these, department is also running B.P.Ed., PG Dip.in Yoga and Certificate Course in Yoga under self finance scheme. The nomenclature of Diploma in Physical Education(1-Year) (D.P.Ed.) has been changed to Bachelor in Physical Education(1-year) (B.P.Ed.), as per requirement of the NCTE, Jaipur from the session 2006-07.
The course curriculum includes the following subjects:
Yog Prichaya
Anatomy, Physiology for Yogic Practices
Teaching Methodology of Yogic Practice
Traditional Yoga
