The First Year
The first two semesters are designed to build a foundation in the core areas of business encompassing Accounting, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Operations Research, Operations Management, Business Communication, Organizational Behavioural and HR, Informatics and System Design. These meticulously planned courses in various functional areas of management provide the student a solid foundation and prepares them to undertake their specialization modules. It also provides them profound insights into the corporate environment which ensures that students make a career choice that best suits their ability and proficiency.
For personal grooming, students are exposed to specialized in personality and memory development and meditation.
The Second Year
In the second year besides core courses students are offered dual specialization in functional areas of their choice. The functional areas include marketing, finance, human resources and information technology. The electives in each functional area are designed to impart expertise in specific areas and equip the students in dealing with complex and diverse managerial situations. The course structure of the second year requires the students to undertake a project in the last semester under the direct guidance of the faculty and/or corporate leaders. This unique feature of CMD's curriculum helps the students in assimilating their courses thoroughly and test their learning in actual business settings; thus ensuring a smooth entry in the corporate world.
