PGDM:MARKETING MANAGEMENT

The Institute offers Two-Years Full-Time Programme for Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India.

This programme leads to the Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). While the programme is based on the standard model of management education as practiced by top ranking institutions, this programme is distinguished by its rigour and discipline.

Objectives: The two-year programme is designed to prepare competent men and women for careers in management in the corporate sector and in public sector organizations.

The course provides a generalist perspective which enables students to view the organization in a holistic manner as well as place it in the context of the larger environment. The students are also trained in technical and functional business skills in respect to the areas of specialization (namely Finance, Marketing, IT, Human Resource Management etc.). They are encouraged to develop their analytical and integrative skills so that they can define problems with clarity and formulate alternative solutions for implementation.

Besides, professional expertise the programme also emphasis on training students for collaboration and teamwork through development of human relations, skills and attitudes. Development of commitment to excellence along with awareness of social and ethical responsibility among the students so that they become a powerful force for socio-economic change and progress, is expected in course of the programme.
