Ph.D in Discrete Mathematics (Graph Theory)
The School of Applied Physics and Mathematics offers Ph.D. to limited number of candidates preferably in the areas of Algebra (Ring Theory), Discrete Mathematics (Graph Theory); Material Science (bulk and thin films of oxides). Admission to Ph.D. programme is possible any time in the year through College Research Committee (CRC). Limited number of Research Assistantships for Ph.D. students is available which is decided on merit by the CRC, subject to the rules of the University.
Visiting Fellowship is offered for a limited period of time coinciding with a specific/multiple job(s) pertaining to teaching, research and specific project. Such positions may not be available all the time. Desirous candidates are required to consult the School�s Director.
Research/ Infrastructure Development
SAPM has submitted a proposal to NBHM for annual financial support for the procurement of Books and Journals
SAPM is in touch with some leading multinationals to workout a roadmap for perusing joint academic and R&D work
The School has designed initially & developed the university website www.smvdu.org.
The School is involved in conceptualization and execution of the telecommunication network of SMVDU. Currently the Phase-II of the network is being established.
