The eligibility of the programme is masters' degree in management, economics, agricultural economics, or commerce with an OGPA of not less than 6.500/10.00 or 4.000/5.000 or first division in case of the universities where grading system is not applicable. Those appearing for the final year Degree examinations (mentioned above) may also apply.

Course programme

The Ph.D. programme consists of 60 credits, 30 credits for course work and 30 credits for research work. The course work consists of basic supporting and core courses with 15 credits, minor of 10 credits and open elective of 5 credit.
