The PhD study corresponds to a minimum of three years' study (full time) and 4 years (part time) based on a completed Master's degree in any field of pharmaceutical sciences or subjects like biological & health sciences related to various aspects of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The student shall carry out an individual study programme, including a research project supervised by a senior scientist and independent writing of a PhD thesis to be defended in connection with a public lecture and subsequent examination.
Amrita School of Pharmacy is associated with various clinical trials of drugs and post marketing studies being carried out at our hospital. AIMS is identified by the National Pharmacovigilance Centre as its primary peripheral pharmacovigilance centre in the state of Kerala.
