PhD in Management

Way back in 1978, on its very inception, the Department recognized the growing relevance of imbibing a holistic approach to management and envisioned the need to generate a band of resourceful individuals armed with the conviction of management as the art of the possible. The two-year MBA Programme was designed to meet this end under the full sponsorship of UGC and recognition of the AICTE. The University structure facilitates necessary cross-functional interaction through multifaceted networking programmes like academic exchanges, seminars, consultative research and publications. The department maintains continuous interaction with industry with a view to explore possibilities in the dynamic environment. The Department holds the institutional membership of professional bodies like AIMS and AMDISA.

In its quest to promote excellence in management, the Department launched the Ph. D. Programme in Management since inception. The Doctoral Programme is designed to impart knowledge, develop skills and create attitudes relevant to teaching, research and consulting.
