The on-going structural changes in the economy have resulted in major shifts in the Indian agricultural scenario. The policies of globalisation have taken Indian agriculture into the global village, opening up unprecedented opportunities as well as great challenges. These and other concomitant forces of change are placing significant demands for managerial skills in the Agri-Business sector. The course module is divided into VII trimesters covering 117 credit load including one trimester for summer internship during which the students undergo an assignment given by agribusiness companies.
