Course programme

PGDCM Programme will be a Part-Time one year's Diploma Course in Computer Management. It will consist of 8 papers of 800 marks (Including Practical and a Project Work).

Structure of the Course:

Semester - I:

-Elements of Information Technology & Office Automation (Windows Operating System & MS Office)
-Visual Basic Programming (Version 6.0)
-Data Base Management System

Semester - II:

-Web Technology
-Software Engineering
-Practicals & Mini Project

Project Work and Practicals:

As a part of the Course, Students will have to complete their Practical and Project work under the guidance of an Internal Guide and prepare a Project report in 3 copies to be submitted to the Director.

The Project should consist of a practical problem related to an Industrial / Service Organisation. The Practical and Project Work will be assessed by the Institute internally and marks allotted for project would be included in the marks for paper titled practicals during second semester of PGDCM Programme. Practicals would be based on subject covered during the semester. Students are expected to complete a Mini Project to give them understanding of a real life business situation. Both Practical assignment and Mini Project would be evaluated internally, based on submissions and viva voce.
