Post Graduate Program in Management

The Post Graduate Programe in Management (PGPM) is designed to enable students to acquire the skills and capabilities that will enable them to reach responsible Global positions in management.

The number of applicants admitted to this programe is limited to around 120. The Programe revolves around the principle that world-class business leaders are not mass-produced; they are nurtured and developed with personalized care and attention, in small work groups and teams, and in a practical, application-oriented user-friendly environment.

The programe lays the foundation for conceptual and analytical reasoning, and gives the students an insight into the dynamics of the business environment.

Developing skills in leading and teamwork is an important facet of the program. This anticipates practices in many of today's successful organizations. The interactive skills of effective communication, conflict management, negotiation and mobilizing individuals towards common goals are the essential ingredients of effective management.

This program is tailor made to suit the specific requirements of the industry; under this program students undergo 16 compulsory papers along with case studies from Harvard Business School and have a choice of 5-elective groups.
