PRE-Ph.D. IN MOLECULAR MEDICINE

Initially, the academic activities of the centre were started with the enrolment of direct Ph.D. students in the year 2001. However, since 2003 onwards the centre has started Pre-Ph.D. programme to train students in the field of molecular medicine. Since, our major objective is to carry out teaching & research in this inter-disciplinary field, the following courses are designed.

(A) DIRECT Ph.D. IN MOLECULAR MEDICINE

Eligibility for Direct Ph.D Admission
(a) Either obtained M.Phil. degree of recognized Universities/Research Institutions with minimum Final Grade Point Average (FGPA) of 6.00 in 10 point scale/comparable strand where the grading is based on system other than the 10 point scale. The candidates who have obtained M.Phil. degree from a University/Institution where the M.Phil. dissertation is not graded or grading is not based on 10 point scale, are required to forward a copy of their M.Phil. dissertation along with the Application Form for the purpose of assessment of their credentials; or

(b) Research experience in recognized Universities/Research Institutions and/or Research Publication(s) comparable to M.Phil. standard.

(c) MBBS / BVSc / B.Pharm. with one year research experience or MD / MVSc / M.Pharm.
