If you have higher level training in the health sciences sector and you would like to specialise in the management of public health in the administration, this course is for you. Emagister.com presents the university master's degree in Public Health, a course coordinated by the Universitat Pompeu Fabra and which the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona also participates in. The course will train you to work in both public and private health services.

What are the course objectives?

You will being working on the area of public health, studying its organisation and its different health policies, and later continue studying epidemiology, statistics and the design of public health studies. The next area you will work on will be professionalisation and research on community and workplace health, and also the epidemiology of transmittable diseases. The following part is based on your specialisation, where you may choose from between the different subjects that adapt to your goals. You will complete your training with professional work placements and with your Master's thesis.

Is this course for me?

This master's degree is designed for university graduates who would like to specialise in management of health services and public health. The course lasts two years and is taught in person. You must have a high standard of English as part of the Master is taught in that language.

Requirements: Official bachelor's degree or equivalent. B2 level of English.
