Shielded Metallic Art Welding - Structural

SMAW is a course designed for starters. It’s an eight weeks schedule designed to give basic knowledge to learners in regard to welding. It is a basic program for new learners. All types of basic tools are taught in the classes. The class consists of only eight learners, so selective candidates are selected for the course. Lessons are basic which include both theory as well as practical sessions. Basic molding and structuring are taught in this curriculum. Learner is required to expand his skills in different tasks that are performed in twelve mm thick plate in various positions. The index of the program includes, preface and ethics of SMAW, welding and assortment process, defects, cause and remedies of welding, security measures, various joints, techniques, and economies.
