The candidate fullfilling the following criteria are eligible to apply : Shiksha-Shastri/B.Ed with Sanskrit as teaching Subject. 55% in aggregate and in practical and theory min 50% in each part. 5% concession for SC/ST

Course programme

Shiksha-Acharya in sanskrit is the corresponding course to M.Ed in modern education. This course is only provided in Jaipur Campus.

The areas of study under Shiksha-Acharya are :

There will be six papers (Four compulsory and two optional) each carrying 100 marks.

(A) Compulsaory Papers :

Paper I Philosophical and Sociological Foundations of Education.
Paper II Advanced Educational Psychology.
Paper III History and Development of Sanskrit Teaching.
Paper IV Methodology of Education Research and Statistics.

(B) Optional Papers
(one from the following two sections)

Section A
(i). Teacher-Education.
(ii). Educational Administration and Supervision.
(iii). Educational and Vocational guidance.
(iv). Education of special children.

Section B
(v). Education Technology.
(vi). Distance Education.
(vii). Camparative Education.
(viii). Value-based education and Human Rights.

Section C
Viva-voce and dissertation.
Section D
Sessional experience and supervision of ten practice-teaching lessons.
