Shell scripting is the most common programming language that is used by system administrator & DBAs. It is utilized to mechanize several daily S.A. & D.B.A. functions. For S.A. & D.B.A., information of shell scripting is an extra benefit.

On Day 1, students will cover the following topics:

* An easy Script & typical first line
* Creating shell Script Block - Instructions & Argument, Variable, Input/Output Redirections, Decision & Coiling

Text Treatment - String & File

* Locating text - grep command family
* Usual Expression - Commanding strings treatment tools/languages

Students will be given to do practice exercise as well.

On Day 2, students will cover the following topics:
