UpsideAssess has a very easy-to-use interface for authoring a variety of questions and assessments. Questions can be uploaded via spreadsheets as well. The learner interface is designed to be secure and can even be configured to block access to other applications while assessment is ON. UpsideAssess can also recover to the last question attempted in case of a loss of network connectivity, user machine failure, or any other error. This means that there is no loss of time or responses for a user. The interface can also be configured to disallow copy, paste, and other keyboard level functions.

UpsideAssess comes packed with a number of standard reports. All key tracking reports include graphical display of data. The reports can be easily scheduled to be sent automatically to a set of email IDs, or can be sent to ad-hoc email addresses as and when needed. All the reports come with an extensive filter set to enable users to drill down into the data to the desired level based on the information they require. By default, all reports are ready to export to Excel spreadsheet and Adobe PDF formats.

UpsideAssess offers a set of support tools for users to enhance their overall experience as well as provide them adequate help when needed. An integrated helpdesk with complete transaction tracking and pre-defined FAQs managed by the System Administrator provides support for learners on system-related issues. Several other tools and features provide learners with additional support. These include the display of important announcements, messages, and notifications on the home page upon logging in; and a number of pre-set automated email notifications.

UpsideAssess has a very sleek and easy-to-use interface. Users can choose their preferred skin color; they can also select the language of their choice, as the system supports multiple languages.
