UG Dentistry

The entire BDS curriculum as per the DCI prescribed syllabus has been broken into component subjects, chapters and topics. Each topic constitutes a module of learning consisting of several granular learning objects such as digital teachers, slides, animations of concepts, textual notes, glossaries, questions relevant to the topic, book and journal references, etc.

What started as the seed for enhancing the quality of medical education, has spread its branches into various aspects of all allied health sciences. Now we present to you with our prestigious venture in ‘Dentistry'.

Each module is developed and delivered by a Teacher of Excellence who provides all inputs to the content, which gets peer reviewed by a subject expert and subsequently gets enriched with addition of multimedia elements such as graphics, illustrations and animations.

The first version of SmarTeach Dentistry covers Basic Medical Sciences including the subjects of Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry. The Dental Sciences include the subjects of Oral Anatomy, Histology and Physiology along with Dental Materials. The final product consisting of video lessons, quizzes, simulations and structured evaluation will be up and running by the beginning of the academic year.

The product shall be hosted on the SmarTeach Learning Management System (LMS) at a dental colleges.
