Background
Insurance in India is a commercial enterprise entrusted with great social responsibilities. Over the years, the Indian industry has grown in financial stature and has become a major contributor to the national economy, but its goals in the arena of Social Sector are yet to be fully realised. While on hand, the organisations in the social sector need to develop skills in analysis and management of risks, on the other hand, the insurers must identify the growing need for insurance support in this sector. This programme strives to provide a platform for interaction between the organisations in the Social Sector and the Indian Insurance Industry.
Objectives
This programme aims to :
