Course programme

The program is rooted in naturopathy and simplified yoga techniques specific to stress reduction.

It is simple to teach, so students will retain the information they are shown and incorporate it into their daily routine.

Instructors will learn:

Effective communication skills
Fitness screening and assessment
How to teach safe and effective programs
Stress management techniques
The importance of warm ups
How to work with clients diagnosed with stress related conditions
Basic anatomy and physiology
Multiplanor flexibility, stretching and alignment
Meditation and relaxation
Complementary and alternative medicine
The Three Rings of Health (a unique stress assessment tool used in combat yoga fitness).

The student is expected to study all of the material in volumes 1 through 4 of combat yoga fitness, in order to become thoroughly familiar with the material and techniques.

The examination comprises research questions, short essays, the submission of pictures (or a video) demonstrating proper form of the poses, and a final multiple choice exam.

On successful completion of all assignments, an official credential will be issued certifying the instructor to teach this system of yoga.

The entire progran can be completed through distance learning working at your own pace.
