The Agricultural Finance course objective is to build the capacity of financial institutions to lend to agribusiness enterprises and expand their agribusiness loan portfolios. The course covers three main topics: agribusiness and agri-sector fundamentals, agribusiness credit analysis and agricultural value chain finance. At the end of the course, the participants will have a thorough understanding of the agriculture sector and agribusiness units, understand the principles of developing value chain financial partnerships and apply the concepts of credit analysis through understanding agricultural risk management.
