B.Com. Tax Procedures & Practice

The Government has been bringing more and more people into taxnet. Particularly manufacturers and traders are required to pay a variety of taxes. They have to employ personnel possessing knowledge in tax laws or they have to seek advice from tax practitioners and consultants. The objective of this course is to acquaint the students with the law, procedures and practice of direct and indirect taxes. The curriculum of the course includes among other subjects, Accounting, Cost Accounting, Management Accounting, A.P. VAT, Central Sales Tax, Income Tax, Wealth Tax, Central Excise, Customs, Companies Act, Mercantile Law, Business Data Processing and Accounting package Tally.
