B.E. in Civil Engineering

Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE) Mysore conducts BE in Civil Engineering. The concerned department has Laboratories for under-graduate course such as Basic Material Testing Laboratory, Fluid Mechanics and Machinery Laboratory, Survey Laboratory, Geotechnical Engineering Laboratory, Concrete, Highway and Building Materials Testing Laboratory, Environmental Engineering Laboratory and Geology Laboratory are fully equipped with modern equipments. In addition there is a model section having models of various Civil Engineering Structures and Building components. Some of the major items installed are equipment for non-destructive testing of concrete-PUNDIT (Ultrosonic, non-destructive testing). Profometer, Schmidt Hammer, concrete core cutter, Rock-cutting saw for testing samples from buildings, etc.
