B.E in Electrical & Electronics engineering

The Course has been a pioneer in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, with core Research and Development in the field of Power Apparatus and systems for many decades.

The department is part of the team developing the micro-satellite (ANUSAT) sponsored by ISRO. The department is recognized under NaMPET and received grants for Power Electronics related research and applications. The department has gone through stages of COSIST, DSA phases I, II, III programs of UGC. The grants received of approximately Rs.1.5 crores from the research funding agencies are effectively utilized for Post Graduate education and creating research facilities.
