The college offer number of courses, one of the course is B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering.The Course duration is 4 Years, which is divided into 8 Semesters and each Semester of 6 month. Students have to appear for the University Examination at the end of every Semester.i.e.,in April / May & November / December.

All the programs offered by Saraswathi Velu College of Engineering are affiliated to Anna University and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.The courses follow the curriculum of Anna University and the methodology focuses on Classroom interaction, Self-learning, Periodical Evaluation, Guest Lectures, Projects and ultimately transformation through education.

The Electronics and Communication Engineering graduates find opportunities in Terrestrial and extra Terrestrial communication systems like Telephones, Mobiles, Television, Optical Fiber Communication, Consumer and Entertainment devices where most of them needed.
