A number of laboratories from basic engineering workshops, strength of materials lab, machine shop with heavy duty lathes, special machine shop, hydraulics lab, heat and mass transfer lab, I.C engines lab, dynamics lab, sophisticated CAD/CAM, mechotronics lab, stream turbine lab metrology lab etc are available to impart in depth training to the students. Licensed software like solid edge, Edge CAM, Femap with NX-NATRON with multi-user licenses, CNC lathe, CNC milling machine and high end computers available in the laboratories help the creative genius of the students.

Apart from the syllabus oriented equipments in lab, additional equipment like wind tunnel, compressor, A/C systems etc are available .With the view to help the students breathe life into their conceptual ideas to become concrete projects, these laboratories have amply proved their worth in helping our students to design innovative prize winning projects.

A department library with number of volumes of books is also functioning for the benefit of the staff and students.
