The Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University offers B.A.Economics course to its students. The course structure for it is as follows:

Basic Concept of Economics
Economics Development in India after Independence
Elementary Statistical Methods and Survey Methods
Agricultural Development in India
Elementary Arithmetical Methods in Economics
Economic theories and policies
Economic Structure A Comparative Study
India from Ancient
Time to 8th Century
History from 16th to 18th Century
India from Middle of 18th century to
the Middle of 19th Century
Government and politics in East and South-East

Evaluation:
Constant Evaluation: (weight age– 30%)
Students will have to submit assignments given to them before the specified time limit.
Final Examination: (weight age– 70%)
Each student will have to appear for final examination at the end of the year and if he/she could not clear examination, they can appear in the next final examination subject to maximum of four trials. If the student cannot clear the examination in four trials then he/she will have to re-register them self for the course.
