B. EL. Ed

Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EL.Ed) is a four year integrated professional degree programme of elementary teacher education after which the student teacher can teach grades I to VIII.

The curriculum includes Foundation Courses , Core Courses,pedagogy,specialization courses in education and liberal options in the descipline of language,mathematics,science and social science.

The high point of the B.El.Ed course is the practicum allows the student teacher to acquire a variety of experiences with children within and outside the schools along with the opportunities for self reflection and micro teaching. B. El.Ed.

This is acheived through school contact programme (in the first year and the third year), school internship (Fourth year) craft,theatreand self developement work shop, colloquia,tutorials and projects.

75% Attendence is compulsory for a student to appear for the Annual Examinations.
