B.A. English
-
Basically, we know English is a language for our communication...
but we have to know that it contains so many unknown terms, styles, vocabularies, and so on. As a student of English Literature only we can find out how important English language is.
I'd preferred this course not only for my qualification but also to improve my knowledge in other than the subject- may become a poet, a novelist,....
For this we have to improve our-self by reading no.of books, and here we should not depend on others. Professors are only a guide for us, so we should utilize them in a correct way.
This course had developed me to write some short stories and poems. And this had fulfilled me desires also!

Course programme
As the international language, English has had primacy of place down the centuries. Today with the increasing demand for communicative competence in learners of English as a second language and foreign language, courses of study aiming to impart communication skills in English have assumed great importance. There is an increasing demand for teachers of English and trainers in communication skills who can double up as soft-skills trainers. This trend is reflected in the number of students seeking admission to B.A. and M.A. (English Literature) courses. The College has responded positively to meet the aspirations of such ready learners by opening courses in English language and literature which have a pronounced communication bias and an M.Phil. course to meet the needs of those who aspire to qualify for collegiate teaching service.
