The French Department of Jai Hind College is as old as the College itself. French is taught at the FYBA level as an optional language and about 50-60 students opt for French. There is a lot of interaction with the students. They are encouraged to compose essays, poems, skits & dialogues in French. Grammar is taught meticulously and correct spellings and pronunciations are emphasized.
