All departments of JKK Nataraja college of Arts & Science are known for thier grandeours both in curricular and extra curricular activities.

The Jkk Naharaja College of Arts & Science a Unit of JKK Rangammal Charitable Trust was founded in 1978 by Shri JKK Nataraja an industrialist,educationist and Philanthropist in Komarapalayam, a small town situated on the bank of river cavery. This college was started with a vision to promote higher education to the women not only from urban area but also from rural and semi urbans.

In each and every course there are highly qualified and experienced staff members who render service to mould the personalities of students in all dimensions. Each course is constantly trying to develop the personsality of students by conducting seminars, personality development, workshops through the respective department association. Each department is having a mini Department library for the welfare of the students and teachers. In addition the department of zoology and the department of Tamil has highly experienced teachers with doctoral qualification. They are guiding the research scholars for doing M.Phil., and Ph.D programme which are offered both in part time and full time. The department of history is offering M.Phil., part time programme.
