This Department was established in the year 1972. Science then the School of Studies in Physical Education has been working the preparation trained teachers in the field of Physical Education. The program of Physical Education leads to all round department of a person. The curriculam of Physical Education provides scientific basis for preparation of Sports person.

Infrastructure facilities:

* Playground - 400 mts cinder track, Basketball ground, Hockey field, Football ground.
* Handball Court - 02 ,Volley Ball court -02 ,Kabbadi field -02 ,Kho-Kho field -01 are under construction.
* Gymnasium & Building for S.o.S. , under construction
