B. Pharm

The bachelor of pharmacy (B. Pharm) is a four-year program leading to award of a degree in pharmacy conferred upon a candidate by the Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded.
The program is aimed at creating technical manpower in accordance with the policy of the Government of India in its business of pharmaceuticals in health and hygiene. The program consist of subjects in pharmaceutical sciences viz. Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology and Pharmacognosy along with knowledge of basic & applied sciences, mathematics & statistics, engineering, technical art, management, law, medicine and social sciences as interdisciplinary subjects having bearing upon it.
The program is also aimed at development of trained technical manpower in delivering goods in ancillary health care support services in the form of professionals and entrepreneurs.
The various courses are designed in a manner to develop skills among students such that, enough competency is gained to deliver goods in health care services as clinical pharmacist, hospital pharmacist, community & dispensing pharmacist, in industry for manufacture of pharmaceuticals & its management. The graduates are eligible to compete for civil services examination. It also serves as a platform for further higher studies, research & development.
