Course Contents

The subjects undertaken are basic human sciences, viz: Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, Biochemistry, B.O.P and clinical & Social Psychology. In the 2nd year, the students are given practical as well as theoretical knowledge regarding Electrotherapy, Exercise Therapy along with other subjects viz,Microbiology, Pathology & Pharmacology.

The 3rd year gives the students full clinical orientation of Gen. Medicine, Gen. Surgery, Orthopaedics, Neurology, Psychiatry & Cardiothoracic conditions, along with Organization & Administration of Rehabilitation Units.

In the 4th & final year, the students take over vigorous Physiotherapy training regarding management of Orthopedic, Neurological, Cardiothoracic Pediatric & Surgical Conditions. Along with this, they are posted for clinical exposure at various hospitals attached to the Institute: The Institute has its own 5 successfully running O.P.D and in-house facility at Ananda Hospital, Shastri Nagar. Final Year students are supposed to submit a compulsory Research Oriented dissertations prior to starting of compulsory rotatory internship.
