The course curriculum of the degree programme in Agriculture and was designated in such a way that the graduates are trained in the best possible manner to suit the needs of farming community. The first curriculum had 144 credits in a total of 8 semesters with due weightage to all the disciplines concerned. Keeping in view the fast emerging changes in the technological advances, the curriculum was again revised in 1989. Keeping in view the Dean's committee recommendations and user agencies, the curriculum was again revised from 1997 admitted batch onwards by increasing the credit load from 144 to 157. Students are trained in the fields of Farm Machinery & Power, Agricultural Process and Food , Soil and Water , Agro-Energy and Agricultural Structures apart from basic Sciences and Agricultural Sciences.
